Kyiv Destroys 40 Out Of 45 Drones Launched By Russia

Ukraine says it destroyed the majority of Russia’s 45 attack drones launched overnight, with very little damage recorded on Sunday morning.

The statement comes a day after police said seven people were killed in a Russian attack that set fire to a petrol station in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city.

Overnight, the occupiers fired 45 attack drones. The Ukrainian air force stated on Telegram that 40 enemy Shahed (UAV) were destroyed as a result of combat operations.

A 39-year-old man was lightly injured by falling debris in the southern district of Dnipro, according to Governor Sergiy Lysak.

Authorities in Kyiv and the central Cherkasy region reported little early damage.

However, aerial guided bombs hit the town of Vodyane in the Kharkiv area, killing a 56-year-old lady, according to Governor Synegubov.

The day before, seven people were killed in his region when a Russian drone attacked a gas station, spreading burning fuel down the next street.
