Nana Yaa Nyarko, a Ghanaian woman living in London, has given information on how her husband and mother-in-law allegedly misled her after she paid for his move to the UK.

In an interview with Ghanaian actress Emelia Brobbey for her Okukuseku Show, Nyarko—who works three jobs in the UK—discussed her ordeal.

She claimed to have borrowed money to bring her former fiancé to the UK, but he paid it back by divorcing her.

“When I moved to London, I reconnected with a boyfriend I had in my adolescence in Ghana. For our wedding, I traveled to Ghana, and I also brought him to London.

We had two children together. His behaviour started showing after our second child. He was the quiet person, and I was the bubbly person in the marriage. To cut a long story short, I discovered he was having an affair with someone based in Ghana, she explained.

She said that her husband had misled her about going to Ghana on work before she discovered that he had actually gone there to visit his second family.

He claimed to be going to Ghana on business, but in reality, he went there for five weeks to live with his sweetheart, who gave birth to his two children. I received a call to inform me. He’s brought his two kids, his baby mama, and London with him as I speak to you. She revealed that they are cohabitating in a different area of the UK.

Nyarko, who is also a radio presenter, revealed that her ex-husband’s mother, whom she worked hard to bring to bring to the UK, also supported her son’s decision.

Not only the man during the marriage, but his mother also visited us three times. She didn’t even have a passport and had never seen one before. I took a loan to be able to bring him and his mother to London. I had to work hard to repay the loan, but in the end, he didn’t officially go to my family to divorce me. she added.
