Wendy Raquel Robinson is a well-known Afro-American actress. Robinson is best known for her roles as Regina “Piggy” Grier, a high school principal on The WB comedy sitcom The Steve Harvey Show (1996-2002), and as sports agent Tasha Mack on The CW/BET sitcom The Game (2006–15).


Robinson was born in Los Angeles on July 25, 1967. She attended Howard University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in drama. She made her acting debut in an episode of Martin in 1993. She appeared in episodes of Thea and The Sinbad Show the same year. Robinson co-starred with Rondell Sheridan in the NBC sitcom Minor Adjustments from 1995 to 1996.

The following year, she was cast as Regina “Piggy” Grier in The WB sitcom The Steve Harvey Show, which she starred in for six seasons. She appeared on the short-lived sketch comedy series Cedric the Entertainer Presents after the series ended in 2002. Robinson also appeared as a guest star on The Parkers, All of Us, and The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Robinson has also appeared in The Walking Dead, as well as A Thin Line Between Love and Hate (1996), Ringmaster (1998), Two Can Play That Game (2001), and Rebound (2005). Miss California in the film Miss Congeniality in 2000. In 2006, Robinson began playing Tasha Mack in the comedy The Game. The CW canceled the series after three seasons in May 2008.

BET reached an agreement with The Game’s parent company, CBS, to develop new episodes of the show, relocating taping from Los Angeles to Atlanta, and announcing its renewal at the April 2010 upfront. On January 11, 2011, The Game returned to the air for a fourth season.

Robinson also appeared on Shonda Rhimes’ Grey’s Anatomy in 2010. She was cast as Cruella de Vil in Disney’s Descendants in 2014. Robinson co-founded the Amazing Grace Conservatory in 1996, a school that primarily serves children aged 8 to 18 from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds in the arts and media production.

Robinson has been the Executive Director of the school since its inception. Thousands of young people have found a safe haven and received training at the school. Rhyon Nicole Brown, Elle Varner, and Selena Thurmond are among the most well-known members (Disney correspondent).
