FULL FIXTURES: Liverpool Face Sparta Prague In Europa League Last 16

On Friday, three-time winners Liverpool were drawn against Sparta Prague in the Europa League last 16, while unbeaten Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen will face Azeris Qarabag.

Liverpool will be strong favourites to reach the quarter-finals as Jurgen Klopp seeks a quadruple in his final season as manager.

The first leg will be contested in Prague on March 7, with the return game at Anfield a week later.

Leverkusen, captained by Xabi Alonso, is unbeaten in 32 matches across all competitions this season and will meet Qarabag again after defeating the Azeri champions twice in the group round.

West Ham and Freiburg, who won the Europa Conference League last year, will also renew acquaintances after David Moyes’ side won two games against the Bundesliga club in Group A.

“It’s kind of stupid that you can come back against your group opponents in the round of 16,” said Freiburg captain Christian Guenter.

“You could already tell that some of us were upset.”

AC Milan, the seven-time European champions, will face Slavia Prague in their quest for their first Europa League trophy after defeating Rennes in the knockout phase.

Rangers, the Scottish Premiership’s losing finalists in 2022, face Portuguese Primeira Liga leaders Benfica, who are still looking for their first European Cup since 1962.

Brighton, a Premier League club, continue their maiden European journey at last season’s runners-up, Roma.
