DJ Khaled Almost Lost His Mansion Due To Financial Difficulties

DJ Khaled, the music and business magnate, recently revealed how he almost lost his home.

Khaled, who graced the cover of Rolling Stone’s current edition, spoke about parts of his professional and personal life in an interview. Prior to his Snapchat exploits and record Major Key reaching the top of the charts, he admitted to “hustling not smart” in 2015.

While his company is doing well right now, he recalls a time when, after pouring a lot of money into the We The Best brand, he had to work hard to come up with a significant rent payment to keep his Miami mansion.

“I remember I had like a month to come up with this [large] amount of money. I kept saying, ‘There’s no way in the world that we worked this much this far and we don’t have nothing to show for it.’ I changed that right away,” he expressed, according to HipHopdx.

“I was like, ‘Yo, if I want a family, I got to get my shit right.’ And I gambled on myself. I always bet on myself from day one. But I tripled down that day.”

Despite his great career, DJ Khaled downplays the use of analytics and owes his artistic decisions entirely to his senses.
