This June, construction will begin on a new site for the well-known vacation retailer Buc-ee’s in East Tennessee.
On June 26, at 6 a.m. EST, the largest location of the Texas-based country shop and gas station will open in Sevierville, Tennessee.
The Sevierville location will hold the title of biggest travel center until Texas reclaims it with a 75,000-square-foot facility under development in Luling, Texas.
The Sevierville location with a 74,000-square-foot floor plan will be located at exit 407 off Interstate 40 and Winfield Dunn Parkway.
“Buc-ee’s Sevierville, located at ‘The 407,’ is nestled in the gateway to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, and of course, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park,” said Stan Beard of Buc-ee’s. “We are thrilled to join such a beautiful community that has long-since been a destination for travelers from around the world.”
The travel center’s renowned beaver nuggets will be one of several snacks available at the East Tennessee facility, along with 120 fueling spots just outside its store, award-winning toilets, reasonably priced gas, and a variety of other items. A “state-of-the-art” car wash will also soon be available at the Buc-ee’s facility.
Buc-ee’s There will be at least 200 more full-time jobs in the area thanks to Sevierville. The second Buc-ee’s to open in Tennessee will be here. Crossville, Tennessee will host the opening of the first-ever Buc-ee’s in the Volunteer State in June 2022.
After opening in Sevierville, Buc-ee’s will have 46 locations throughout Texas and the South.
