Blueface Reportedly Accrued over $1.3M in Interest in $13M Las Vegas Shooting Settlement

According to TMZ, rapper Blueface was ordered by a judge in October 2023 to pay over $13 million in damages to a closed Las Vegas strip club following a 2022 shooting.

Blueface, also known as Johnathan Porter, was sentenced to probation by a different judge for the October 8, 2022 shooting that injured one guy. According to court filings, the victim was shot in the hand outside the Euphoric Gentlemen’s Club on Windy Road, just off the Las Vegas Strip.

KLAS reports that the victim approached Porter at the venue and joked about him “speaking with some females in a cheap vehicle.”

The rapper was initially charged with attempted murder, but after a plea agreement, the charges were reduced to violence and discharge of a handgun at or into an occupied structure.

Nonetheless, he was sentenced to pay nearly $12 million for the venue’s lost earnings and an additional $84k to reimburse employee wages, according to TMZ.

According to court records received by the site, the $13 million damages have not been paid since the judge’s order. It stated that the accrued interest has increased the new sum by a staggering $14,386,164.23.
