Kierra Henderson, a Dallas, Texas-based African American entrepreneur known as the Trucking Guru, has achieved exceptional success in the transportation industry during the last 15 years. Despite several hurdles as a single mother without a high school graduation or GED, she has bucked gender stereotypes and built a highly profitable trucking company.

Kierra became interested in trucking after being encouraged by her father. She faced several challenges along the road, including financial difficulties and juggling family duties as a single mother of three children. Despite her little experience and qualifications, she established her firm from the ground up. She doesn’t even have a driver’s license.

According to AP News, she rapidly won a 45% contract in the oil and gas industry after founding her trucking company. She now controls an amazing fleet of over 140 trucks, as well as dispatchers and a brokerage agency. Her contract deals have totaled more than $100 million to date.

Moreover, Kierra’s impact extends beyond her own business. She is committed to sharing her knowledge and experiences to transform the lives of other startups in the industry and to inspire new generations to enter the industry as well. Through “The Truckin Millionaires Tour,” she empowers them to navigate the trucking business, become independent dispatchers, run a brokerage firm, and secure contracts as an owner-operator.
