Beyoncé Launches Whiskey Line, ‘SirDavis’

Beyoncé, a Grammy-winning US singer, has launched her new whiskey brand, ‘SirDavis’.

The singer announced the debut on Instagram, posing with a sip of whiskey and displaying the bottle, which features a golden horse logo.

Beyoncé’s message included words from her 2024 hit song ‘Bodyguard’.

“Davis in my bones,” she wrote.

The whiskey brand was developed in conjunction with Moët Hennessy and the renowned master distiller, Bill Lumsden.

The company’s website defines the whiskey as “a marriage of the complexity of rye with the elegance of malted barley, finished to perfection in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, creating a harmony of spice with sublime hints of fruit.”

The moniker ‘SirDavis’ honors Davis Hogue, Beyoncé’s great-grandfather. The brand also acknowledges her son, Sir.

On the website, Beyoncé sent a letter to her great-grandfather, reflecting on his legacy and its impact on her.

“I feel you in the landscapes. Your laughter rolling in the rye. What songs did you sing? What gaps did you fill? Great-grandfather, did you dream of me? Your legacy is a force that drives me. For you, I raise my glass to legacy,” she wrote.

The SirDavis 750ml bottle is available for preorder for $89.99 on the brand’s website.

In addition, the SirDavis brand home will open in Houston, Beyoncé’s hometown, in 2025.

This debut follows the release of Cécred, the singer’s hair care product, in February and the addition of Cé Noir to her fragrance range in 2023.
