You Have Dry And Cracked Heels? Try Baking Soda!

If you want to have smooth and beautiful heels you do not have to go to beauty salons to pay a small fortune, but instead you can make a home treatment which will not cost anything. Finally, you won’t have to hide your feet in socks.

Everybody and especially women want to have nice and smooth skin on their heels. Instead due to the hot weather and long hours of wearing sneakers the skin is dry, cracked and damaged. Going to beauty salons will cost a fortune and requires long time which people often lack.

Here we present you a simple way which is 100% natural, cheep and safe and may be done in your home. This recipe will solve your problems with dry and damages skin on your heels just after one treatment.



  • 2 tbsp baking soda;
  • 4-5l warm water;
  • moisturizer;
  • brush/pumice stone/soft scrub sponge;
  • lavender essential oil (optional).

Process of preparation:


Take one laver and pour the water in it. Then add the baking soda and mix well until it dissolves. Check the temperature of the water and be careful not to be too hot or cold. If you like you can add few drops of lavender oil or any other essential oil. Keep you feet for 15 min in the water and then scrub the dead skin layers. Wash your skin with clean water and then apply moisturizer. Put on socks in order to seal the moisture in and wear them for several hours.

You may repeat this treatment twice in a week, depending on how damaged your skin is but in summer it is enough to be done twice a month. If you want faster results than make paste from baking soda and few drops of water and apply it on the affected area before scrubbing it.
