NorthKoreaand the US stand on the verge of all-out war with tensions at boiling point.
A US “armada” arrived in the Korean peninsula to conduct war-drills with South Korea, where they will practice attacking the Hermit Kingdom.
This came after Kim Jong-un launched his ninth missile of the year, which exploded within seconds of launch in the Korean peninsula.
But a government expert who served under US president Ronald Reagan believes the US is about to launch surprise strikes on two of its biggest rivals.
Paul Craig Roberts wrote: “In recent years I have pointed out both written documents and changes in US war doctrine indicate that Washington is preparing a pre-emptive nuclear attack on Russia and China.”
Mr Roberts believes the US hopes to launch a surprise attack so neither of the two nations are able to retaliate.
He also believes the US has been spreading anti-Russian propaganda in a bid to justify attack.
He added: “It is impossible to imagine a more reckless and irresponsible act. Yet this is precisely what Washington has done.
“In short, Washington is preparing to launch a nuclear war.”
His theory is at odds with The Donald’s recent actions, where he has praised his relationship with Chinese president Xi.
If the US is indeed planning on carrying out these attacks, it could spell disaster for Trump.
A US military report earlier this year indicated that the US would lose any conflict against Russia or China due to their superior equipment.
