After the quarter-finals of the 2018 World Cup, FIFA released the final ranking of the participating teams.

While waiting for the last meetings of the competition, the world body of the football has made available to the countries the rankings of the 5th to the 32nd place.

From this competition, which has been playing since June 14 in Russia, Senegal has emerged 1st in Africa and 17th in the world. This is the best ranking despite elimination in the pool phase of Aliou Cissé Lions.

In the standings, the top 12 places go to the selections that went up to the 8th and quarterfinals.

For its part, Nigeria, which has narrowly lost against Argentina, occupies the 21st place. Then comes Tunisia, 24th place, Morocco 27th and Egypt 31st.
