Jada Pinkett Smith, wife of American actor and singer Will Smith revealed that she was once a drug dealer. Now aged 45, she made the revelation during a program of the American radio Sway In The Morning, Wednesday July 19.
She was approaching the first days of his friendship with the late rapper Tupac. She revealed that she knew him when she was … a drug dealer, while confiding that she was only a friend with the rapper. “One of the very interesting things I’ve never said before is that the first time I met Tupac, I was a drug dealer …” she said before adding, “I will not go into detail, because I will write a book about it, but that’s how we started.”
Jada Pinkett Smith studied dance and theater at a school in Baltimore before leaving the family nest for Los Angeles. She started with simple appearances in the series of True Colors and 21 Jump Street. In 1993, she landed her first major role in the movie Menace to Society.
