Zimbabwe’s long-standing president Robert Mugabe, disclosed that Zimbabweans and the ruling ZANU-PFparty see no credible alternative candidate to contest for office during the country’s general elections in 2018. Mugabe said, “they want me to stand for elections, they want me to stand for elections everywhere in the party. The majority of the people feel that there is no replacement, successor who to them is acceptable, as acceptable as i am,”
If what he said is anything to go by, Robert Mugabe might still be Zimbabwe’s President come 2018
