In the 21st century, this young man never forget his tradition and put smiles on everyone’s face at a graduation ceremony in a University in South Africa. He did the unthinkable which 80% of children of nowadays won’t be able to do if asked to do so.
The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) in South Africa was agog when a Bachelor of Law graduate, Njabulo Ntombela changed into his Zulu traditional dress and wore his graduation gown on his 89-year-old great grandmother, Nomkikilizo Ntombela.
According to him, his gesture was to acknowledge her contribution towards his success in life.
