Two eye witnesses have revealed what started the Xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.

According to two eye witness, the Xenophobic attacks in South Africa against Nigerians started after a taxi driver was shot dead by a Tanzanian who was assumed to be a Nigerian.

One of the witnesses claims was a Tanzanian guy that killed the taxi driver not a Nigerian and the guys selling drugs at Brown street are Tanzanians not Nigerians. He insisted that he saw the incident himself and saw all that happened.
