Video: Here’s How The Big Football Stars Celebrated Christmas Across The Globe

Stars and football clubs have taken advantage of their social media platforms to celebrate the holiday season by wishing their fans around the world a merry Christmas.

Most of them were preparing to resume the fight on the field especially the Premier League players on Boxing Day. However, they took the time, despite their busy schedules, to send warm greetings to their fans during this time.

Arsenal star Granite Xhaka and a few other Gunners teammates have decided to play their own version of Jingle Bells, one of the favorites of the season.

Petr Cech goalkeeper Lucas Toreira and two other stars took part in this exciting initiative to celebrate the season with their fans.

The stars of Paris Saint Germain led by Di Maria, Gianluigi Buffon and Thiago Silva surprised four children by offering them signed jerseys.

The former goalkeeper of Juventus, Buffon disguised as Santa while the footballers named above came to offer the gifts to children.

Georginio Wijnaldum of Liverpool presented Christmas gifts to his teammates based on their preferences, after recording a short video from a well-lit Christmas tree. Some other facility managers at the club’s Melwood training center took advantage of the star’s largesse.



Mario Gotze, winner of the World Cup and Borussia Dortmund striker, also shares a social media article celebrating the season while sitting in front of a Piano.

Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba also had some words to elevate his fans’ minds during this period.
