Uganda’s President Museveni Travels To Guinea For 2-day Official Visit

Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on Friday traveled to Guinea for an official two-day visit at the invitation of his counterpart Alpha Conde.

Museveni’s trip comes about one year after he hosted Conde in Kampala for bilateral talks.

The Ugandan leader announced via his official Twitter account that his visit to Conakry will see him hold discussions with President Conde on strengthening political and economic ties between the two countries.

Museveni was seen off at the Entebbe International Airport by his deputy Edward Ssekandi, the Inspector General of Police and other top security chiefs.
