Uganda’s President, First Lady Get Second COVID-19 Jab


Uganda’s President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and First Lady Janet Museveni on Thursday took their second shot of the AstraZeneca Vaccine.



Uganda’s Ministry of Health has urged all Ugandans to ensure they complete their full dose of the COVID-19 vaccination.
Earlier, the President met the national task force on the COVID-19 response ahead of his national address on Sunday June 8, during which he will brief the nation on the current status of the pandemic.

Health experts in Uganda have overtime been concerned about the surging number of COVID-19 cases which stand at 49,759.
A total of 677,084 people have been vaccinated against the disease.
