Turkey’s President, Recep Erdogan: “Algeria is an Example of Stability”

As we said yesterday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was visiting Algeria at the invitation of Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.

In an interview with the press, the Turkish president expressed the willingness of his country to work to deepen cooperation in the political, economic, cultural, tourism, energy and security. To this end, it attaches great importance to the development of bilateral relations in the technical field and to the strengthening of the legal framework for cooperation.

During this working visit, the Turkish president went to the martyrs’ sanctuary where he took refuge in memory of the martyrs of the war of national liberation, placing a wreath of flowers in front of the commemorative stele, followed by a minute of silence observed.

In terms of stability and security, Erdogan praises the merits of Algeria, where he affirmed that Algeria plays a vital role in the establishment of peace and stability, that the country is an example stability in a region facing ongoing unrest.
