Ufuoma and Steven McDermott have two children: Son Isio Jared (born October 10, 2012) and daughter Kesiena (born August 8, 2015).

The Nigerian actor and model comes from the state of Abia. Ik Ogbonna married a Colombian, Sonia Morales, on June 29, 2015 in Belgrade, Serbia. They have a child together.
