US President Donald Trump referred on Wednesday to the non-existent nation of ‘Nambia’, amid a lunch with pioneers of several African countries in the midst of the United Nations General Assembly.
Trump erroneously alluded to Namibia as ‘Nambia’ twice: once in the opening of his discourse and a moment time as he talked about the nation’s well being framework, which he portrayed as “progressively independent”.
Social media users, predictably, were quick to jump on the faux pas.
