Always have I wondered why she puts ice cubes in her laundry every time she’s does it. Approaching her one of those times, she opened up and shared this stunning reason why she does that and every time instructs whoever does the laundry in her stead..
Here It is..
You’re in all probability involved with one chore or the other, therefore making it difficult to press or iron your clothes. So are we.
Let’s be realistic: When we’re in a race to get out, mostly in the mornings, giving us no time to waste time on ironing our pieces of clothing.
Luckily, there’s an answer that will empower you to discard those wrinkles in a jiffy.
All you have to do is toss a couple (and we mean… just a couple) ice cubes in with your clothes when you run the dryer.
As the dryer tumbles and heats up, the ice cubes melt to water, which eventually becomes steam. Just make sure to run your dryer on the highest setting for maximum results.
It may sound like a strange laundry trick, but it actually works.
- Set your dryer to the highest setting and toss in your clothes. We put a couple of highly wrinkled dress shirts and a pair of paints to the test.
- Add three to four ice cubes, and turn on your dryer. As it heats up, the dryer melts the ice cubes, creating wrinkle-smoothing steam.
