“There is Mafia in Football”. Ronaldo’s Mother Explains Why Her Son Could Lose the Golden Ball

Cristiano Ronaldo is a victim of the Mafia, according to his mother. Dolores Aveiro says that the former star of Real Madrid would have won more individual titles if he had been English or Spanish.

Dolores Aveiro is very up against the leaders of football because his son is treated unfairly because of his origin.

In an interview with the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, she was asked about the chances of Ronaldo winning a Golden Ball. According to Dolores Aveiro, the Portuguese deserve this award but the mafia that exists in football could be an obstacle.

“There is mafia in football. This is the right word to describe this. There is a football mafia. If you see everything that’s going on, you’ll realize it’s a mafia, “ she said before tackling the football leaders.

“If he were English or Spanish, they would not have done what they did, but he is Portuguese and Madeira, and it happens. I do not know if he will receive it but I trust him and I think he deserves it. If we analyze what he did during the season, he deserves it .
