The Story Behind a Comedian Who Turned His Profession Into Filmmaking

Keenan Ivory Wayans was born on June 8, 1958, in New York City.

He went to Seward Park High School located in NYC. Wayans obtained his High School diploma in 1976. He attended classes at Tuskegee University in Alabama once he received his engineering-grant award. When Wayans went back to New York, he opted out of college during his fourth year to proceed with his career as a comedian.
