According to FOX13, the suspect, identified as Leaudre Isabell, is accused of stabbing five people at a home on Hubert Avenue on April 23. Officers who responded to the address started administering aid to the injured victims after they found them, the affidavit stated.
But Pamela Isabell, who is Leaudre’s sister, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was unresponsive and not breathing when she was found. Two other men the suspect stabbed were transported to the hospital, and they are said to be in serious critical condition. Pamela’s 7-year-old son, however, succumbed to his injuries after he was transported to a children’s hospital. The fifth victim, who is 9-years-old, also remains in serious critical condition at the hospital.
“How in the (expletive) you stab all those people like that,” a family member of the victims said in an interview with WREG. “And then you wait until they go to sleep?”
And though police are yet to establish the motive behind the attack, family members said Leaudre has experienced mental health problems. “He just got a problem. He just got a problem,” a family member said. “Everybody tried to help him. Everybody in the family tried to help taking him back and forth to work. Nope, don’t have to pay no rent.”
Leaudre is being held without bond as of Saturday, with his next court appearance scheduled for April 25.
