Technology: Cameroon Presents Its First Ever Made in Cameroon Drones [Photo]

The first drones made in Cameroon were presented to the public on February 2, 2018 in Yaoundé.
These multifunctional drones are a concept of the Cameroonian start-up, “Will and Brothers” Williams Elong, general director of DroneAfrica.


Will and Brothers, made up of 20 people, has developed the DroneAfrica app, which offers the first civilian drone service in Cameroon. This group specializes in the design, assembly and marketing of drones in Cameroon and Africa.

While presiding over the presentation ceremony, Minister of Telecommunications Libon Li Likeng praised the ingenuity of Cameroonian youth, while inviting other young people to put their creativity into the digital age for socio-economic progress. of Cameroon.

According to the information reported by the CRTV, the drones are equipped with a sophisticated camera and can be remotely controlled, in order to capture unpublished images on extended rays.

This concept of William, a young entrepreneur of 24 years, has allowed him to be at the 7 th rank of the top 30 most promising young African entrepreneurs in 2016. This ranking was published by US magazine Forbes.
