The entrepreneur and venture capitalist hinted us on her plans to take on the fashion world next. Last year, she launched her own fashion line – Serena.
In her word: “I’m doing something that I’ve always wanted to do, that I always dreamt of doing. I went to fashion school back in the early 2000s. This was something that just didn’t pop up for me.”
The chief content and creative officer of Essence magazine, MoAna Luu revealed their excitement to have Serena Williams as the muse for their September 2019 edition.
“This issue promises to be one of ESSENCE’s biggest with a fresh new redesign. We also brought the best Black creatives in the world including Nigerian visual artist Laolu Sebanjo, who gave us Serena’s stunning face painting for the cover to present all of the stunning visuals that you see”
