President of Sudan Accuses The United States of Seeking to Divide the Country Into Five States

Omar al-Bashir, the Sudanese president, says the United States is seeking to divide his country into five regions, more than a month after we said we had lifted its strict sanctions on the East African country.


“We have information that the desire of the United States is to divide Sudan into five states if we do not find protection,” the Sudanese president said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
