Popular Ghanaian Actress Explains Why She Plays The Role Of “Witch” In Movies

The famous Ghanaian actress, Rose Akua Attaa Mensah, also known as Kyeiwaa, has for the first time publicly declared that she is a real “witch” in the movies.

Kyeiwaa in an interview with Agyemang Prempeh on Rainbow Radio said she is a “witch” and only works in the afternoon.

She justified why she was always a “witch” in all her films.

Interestingly, she revealed that she is not the only person in the film industry to play the role of witch.

The actress mentioned the names of two other Ghanaian pioneering actresses, Grace Omaboe, known as “Maame Dokono,” and Grace Nortey, also known as “Obaa Genge,” describing them as “high witches” rank “.

In a relaxed atmosphere, Kyeiwaa said that before entering the film industry, she admired them both when they were playing in “witch-related” movies and wanted to be one of them , adding that now that she is in the industry, she does similar things. “The appreciation of the public, the reward entrusted to them” testifies to the fact that they have transferred witchcraft to me “.

She adds that filmmakers consider her a better substitute for a “witch” in movies.

She said, however, that she is not a “witch” in real life, but simply plays such characters in the films she presents.
