The latter is the current state of Robert Mugabe, who has ruled Zimbabwe as its president since 1987.
The 93-year-old has been synonymous with dictatorship in Africa and the world, and for so long nobody could persuade him to relinquish power.
Earlier this week, though, Mugabe’s reign as Zimbabwe president was brought to a halt after troops of the Zimbabwe Defense Council (ZDC) held him captive inside his own home.
The military has indicated that the act is not a coup d’etat, however, Mugabe has been placed on house arrest, with a decision yet to be taken on what next.
However, despite his reign almost coming to an end, the dictator has a wide range of investments in his country, including putting up a plush 5-bedroom mansion situated in Harare.
The mansion is simply luxurious and boasts a variety of state of the arts facilities.
