Philippines’ Rodrigo Duterte Again Hits ‘Height of Vulgarity’ As He Speaks Against The West!

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has acquired himself the rather ‘un-presidential’ reputation of being foul-mouthed. It goes really well, to an extent, with the drug war that he has launched in the Philippines.

The story becomes rather different when the focus shifts to the international stage. In September, he infamously referred to U.S. President Barack Obama as a “son of a whore,” shortly before the two were meant to meet.

President Obama had put off the meeting after the reports on President Rodrigo Duterte’s statement had come out.

President Rodrigo Duterte, just last week, made comments about an intent to severe ties with the U.S. which was the country’s former colonizer, in favor of improved relations with Beijing.

After the country’s independence, however, the U.S. became a rather strong ally, making the President’s talk of a complete break pretty surprising.

Duterte has already reneged on talk of a severance but he made some comments on Saturday at a press conference in Davao that display a seething disdain of the West. He made rambling, vulgar comments that were mostly lacking in coherence, declaring of Western allies;

According to Agence France-Presse, Duterte said:

“You sons of whores. Your euro, that’s a piece of paper. You run out of toilet paper, you wipe up your ass. You guys are bullshit. Why am I saying this? It sounds the height of vulgarity. You started it.”

We are not exactly sure how the West started the name calling but world leaders have been highly critical of President Rodrigo Duterte’s methodology in undertaking the drug war that is currently going on in the Philippines. Such criticisms have led his to lash out verbally often enough which has caused several members of his government to be in a constant mode of damage control.
