Philippines’ President Rodrigo Duterte Kisses An Unknown Woman Amid A Public Meeting (Video)

Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte has been heavily criticized for kissing a woman on his mouth at a rally in South Korea, reports the BBC.

Duterte was speaking to the Filipino community in South Korea when he brought two women to the gallery to offer Aries Rufo’s book, Altar of Secrets: Sex, Politics and Money in the Philippine Catholic Church.

The president first kissed the first woman on the cheek before showing her lips to the second.

” Are you single? You are not separated? He asked. When she learned that she was married with two children, he said, “But can you tell him it’s a joke? Before gripping his forearms and kissing him on the mouth in front of the audience.

The scene drew cheers from the crowd, mostly made up of other Filipino workers.

But this incident was described as “a disgusting act of a misogynist president” by the Philippine human rights group, Gabriela.

This is not the first time that Mr. Duterte has been accused of inappropriate behavior towards women.

In a video, the kissed woman, Bea Kim says there was no malice and that for him and her, this kiss meant nothing.
