Over 3,300 People Killed in Road Accidents in Morocco in 2019 – Ministry

A total of 3,384 people were killed in road accidents in Morocco in 2019, a report of the Ministry of Equipment and Transport said on Saturday.

The report added that the number of the killed people decreased by 2.9 percent from 2018.

The total number of accidents reached 102,737 in 2019, according to the report.

It’s very urgent for the country to achieve the objectives of the Moroccan road safety strategy for the period 2017-2026, the Minister of Equipment and Transport Abdelkader Amara was quoted by the report as saying.
