Over 117 Million Covid-19 Vaccinations Administered Across Africa

As of November 1, 2021, confirmed cases of Covid-19 from 55 African countries reached 8,498,303 while over 117,311,369 vaccinations have been administered across the continent.

Reported deaths in Africa reached  218,224 and  7,853,327 people have recovered. South Africa has the most reported cases  2,922,116 and  89,177 people died. Other most-affected countries are Morocco (946,145), Tunisia (  712,747 ), Ethiopia (365,167), Libya (357,964), Egypt (331,017) and Kenya (253,310).

The numbers are compiled by the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University (world map) using statistics from the World Health Organization and other international institutions as well as national and regional public health departments.
