Pyongyang made the announcement before the arrival of the US president in neighboring South Korea.
The North Korean news agency said: “He absolutely needs medicine to cure his psychological disorder and we will do it.” The latest insults from Pyongyang come as the country recently called Donald Trump “mentally ill” in a propaganda stream delivered to South Korea.
North Korea delivered its deluge of insults via balloons sent through the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone of Korea). The leaflets that fell in the South Korean capital of Seoul described the president as “mentally ill” and “dotard”.
It seems that Donald Trump can not keep his promises of “fire and fury” after Democratic senators introduced a bill to prevent Donald Trump from launching a first nuclear attack on North Korea without Congressional approval .
Senator Chris Murphy introduced the bill yesterday, co-authors Bernie Sanders, Liz Warren and Cory Booker, as well as Brian Schatz, Tammy Duckworth, Jeff Merkley and Tom Udall.
Senators cited “the escalation of irresponsible rhetoric” and “the contradictory behavior of Trump and officials in his administration”.
Mr. Murphy said, “We must take the president seriously when he threatens the war because the dam could break at any time.
He added: “This bill should not be controversial because it essentially reaffirms the current law, but the Congress must make it clear that the President does not have the authority to carry out preventive military action in North Korea without the Congress consent.
