No Room For Laziness As Nigerian Immigrants Sweep Italian Streets For €10 Daily

At least this keeps immigrants busy and their minds off any social atrocity. They one way or the other should be able to give back to the government of the so called country they reside.

A minimum number of 97,000 migrants reach Italy year. It’s hard to find a job if you’re in the process of claiming asylum but a group of Nigerians living in a migrant camp in Rome, have started a voluntary street sweeping collective.

According to BBC, it was founded by Wisdom and Osas, who came up with the idea because they had no money but did not want to beg on the streets. They revealed that they are more than 300 Nigerians sweeping the streets and earn €10 to €20 daily.
