The President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, has launched a national re-orientation campaign; ‘Change Begins With Me’ aimed at restoring a credible value system to better the country. According to Vanguard the campaign is engineered by the Federal Ministry of Information.
In a speech he said:
“We must resist the temptation to fall back on the same partisanship, pettiness and immaturity that have poisoned our country for so long. Let us summon a new spirit of responsibility, spirit of service, of patriotism and sacrifice, Let us all resolve to pitch in and work hard and look after, not only ourselves but one another.
He further said that he is optimistic that with a consistent campaign and determination of the Nigerian public, the desired change would be achieved.
But not all Nigerians agree with the campaign which the government is using on Twitter #ChangeBeginsWithMe
