Nigeria: Troops Uncover Boko Haram’s Bomb Making Factory In Sambisa (Photos)

Troops of operation Deep Punch, supported by the Nigerian Air Force, on Tuesday continued their raid on Camp Zairo in Sambisa Forest.

They completed a hostile action Boko Haram terrorists guarding a noteworthy Improvised Explosive Device (IED) making factory.


Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu, Deputy Director Public Relations, Theatre Command, Operation LAFIYA DOLE, in an announcement said troops effectively connected with the guerillas, grounded their vehicle borne IED, neutralized a number of the terrorists and captured a bomb making factory.

The troops also recovered 88 Gas Cylinders, 1 Laptop computer, one 100m Ultra High Frequency Hand-held Radio (UHF HH Radio), 1 Motorola GP 180, Theodolite and 2 Global Positioning Systems (GPS).

They further destroyed 22 Motorcycles, 18 Bicycles and provisions store.
