Nigeria is now officially free of polio as the World Health Organizationremoved the country’s name form the list of Polio Endemic Countries. Dr Matshidiso Moeti, who is the Organization’s Regional Director for Africa,visited the state house in Abuja to officially meet with President Muhammadu Buhari for the formal removal of the country from the list.
This new development is definitely an achievement worth to be proud of.
