Nicki Minaj Makes History as First Woman With 100 Appearances on Billboard Hot 100

Nicki Minaj who last year, surpassed Aretha Franklin and made history by becoming the female artist with the most tracks to have ever landed on the Billboard chart, has also made history again by becoming the first woman with 100 entries on Billboard Hot 100.

Nicki Minaj who earned the title with her latest entry at No. 83 as a featured guest on Tyga’s single “Dip”, also has the fifth most triple-digit appearances on the Hot 100, which combines streaming, airplay, and sales data. The “Glee” cast leads with 207 entries, followed by Drake (191), Lil Wayne (160), and Elvis Presley (108).

While this is eight years since Minaj made her first Hot 100 entry as a feature on Lil Wayne’s “Knockout,” which peaked at No. 44 in February 2010, she has also earned 17 top 10s on the Hot 100, the most among female rappers. Her highest-charting hit was “Anaconda” at No. 2 in 2014 and as a featured guest on 6ix9ine and Murda Beatz’s “FEFE,” which peaked at No. 3 in August.
