Mugabe’s 93rd Birthday Party: 150 cattle to be slaughtered, 100,000 guests expected!

President Robert Mugabe’s 93rd birthday party is less than two weeks away . The party is scheduled to hold on a rugby pitch at the Rhodes Estate Preparatory School and has started to raise many eyebrows across the globe. The venue is near the Matopos National Park, about half an hour’s drive from Bulawayo. Initially the venue chosen was inside the park, which is where there are mass graves from the mid-1980s Gukurahundi era. It’s also where British imperialist Cecil John Rhodes is buried.

According to state media, about 100,000 attendants are expected but the figures could later rise to 200,000 as suggested by youth leader Kudzai Chipanga.

Although, there are reports circulating that a group of activists are planning to derail the party.
