Migrants in the United States: Here’s the Moving Message of Melania Trump in Congress

It was through her communication director Stephanie Grisham that Melania Trump, the first lady of the United States, reacted before the members of the congress a few days ago. While she is known for her rare stance in the political scene, the first Lady did not fail to plead for a quick agreement at the congress on the separation of children from their undocumented parents.

Melania Trump is in the same perspective as the elected Democrats who denounce the  “evil” separation of children from their parents without papers

According to our CNN colleagues, Melania Trump said  “hate to see children separated from their families and hopes that both sides of the Congress can finally agree to bring about a successful immigration reform ,

The First Lady of the United States added “She thinks we must be a country that respects all laws but also a country that governs with heart.”

At the end of last week, the US administration revealed its new zero tolerance policy at the border with Mexico. It had led since 2000 to see 2,000 children separated from their parents, arrested for entering the United States illegally.

Faced with this outcry, Donald Trump has been accused by Democrats of being responsible for this situation. The Democratic Party has demanded, to put an end, a vast reform on immigration that skates for months in Congress.

“Democrats can provide a solution to the forced separation of families at the border by working with Republicans to a new law, for once,” he further tweeted Saturday.
