“I started baking in May for Mother’s Day,” London shared with ABC 6. “I made a whole cake, and I sliced it, and I delivered it to mothers to make them happy. When I got back home, they were asking for whole cakes.”
“From there, so many people we didn’t know were finding out from other people, and they just started to ask us to order cakes,” said Tramaine.
To date, London has sold over 200 cakes with her most popular tasty treat, a classic Bundt cake, which is made with two secret ingredients.
As a fifth-grader at Upper Moreland Intermediate School, London says she manages to juggle school and running her business by fulfilling orders during her breaks or during the weekend.
With a favorite subject in math at school, London has dreams of attending Lincoln University for college. She’s also becoming quite the philanthropist — donating a portion of her proceeds to Gift of Life in honor of her late grandfather who suffered from lung disease.
