Meet Senegal’s Moussoukoro Diop, the Female Digital Icon in Africa

“I want more women in the digital world, but above all, I fight for young girls to be interested in technology”, is the fight of MoussouKoro Diop, the female digital icon in Africa.

With more than 17,000 subscribers on twitter, she is a computer engineer passionate about digital. Since its debut in 2010, Moussou, as her friends affectionately call her, has proved herself in various companies in Information and Communication.

“As a computer engineer, I worked in a world where there were only men. I never gave up even if you had to lift PCs that weighed 3 to 5kg, I refused to help me “


This Senegalese of Malian, Gambian and Guinean origin is one of the ambassadors of the Network of Bloggers of Senegal and fights for the women to be more and more represented in the digital world.

A strong woman, Moussou encourages women today to join her in this profession that she practices with devotion.

“Women, you do not need a diploma. Neither in computer science nor in communication. You only need to be passionate and never give up. “
