David surprised his care givers by bouncing back to life while the commentaries of Christiano Ronaldo’s goal were running on the audio.
The teenager woke up as Ronaldo scored his 3rd goal for the Portuguese national team in a World Cup 2014 qualifier tournament against Sweden in November 2013.
Ever since, David Pawlaczyc has considered the Madrid striker his hero.
The incident made headlines for polish newspapers as they also used the platform to raise funds for David’s medical bills. The media considered the boy’s recovery a miracle.
In an emotionally charged atmosphere, Christiano Ronaldo met up with the young fan alongside his parents in 2014. Fakt report says that the polish family drove 6 hours to Madrid to meet the star who had heard the news and invited them over.
David watched his hero play from the VIP boxes at the Santiago Bernabeu in the 2014 Real Madrid’s Los Merengues’ Champions League tournament with Borussia Dortmund. Ronaldo autographed a Real Madrid shirt for David before going in for the match.
On Wednesday it was reported that the soccer champ met once again with the young Polish fan.
Ronaldo flew to Poland with the Madrid squad on Tuesday ahead of Los Blancos’ Champions League Group F game at Legia Warsaw.
