Mandela Institute for Development Studies (MINDS) 2018 West Africa Regional Civil Education Workshop

The Mandela Institute for Development Studies (MINDS) is pleased to announce that applications for the West Africa Regional Election and Governance Regional Workshop are now open. The workshop will take place from 4 to 5 December 2018 in Cotonou, Benin.

The purpose of these workshops is to raise awareness, improve knowledge and develop relevant skills in electoral processes and governance and leadership among participants, so that they can effectively communicate and mobilize other young people to actively participate in community and national development processes and other activities.

Applications will be open to people aged between 18 and 45 from the following countries:

Benin
Cameroon
Gabon
Gambia
Ghana
Guinea Bissau
Mali
Mauritania
Niger
Nigeria
Democratic Republic of Congo
Sao Tome and Principe
Senegal
Sierra Leone
Chad
Togo

MINDS will cover all travel and workshop expenses.

Closing of nominations will take place on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 12:00 noon, South Africa time.
