Kevin Hart Makes Return at People’s Choice Awards After Life-threatening Car Accident

Comedian Kevin Hart has made his first official appearance after a life-threatening accident two months ago.

He suffered three spinal fractures and spent ten days in hospital after his car crashed into a ditch in Malibu, California.

Kevin, 40, was given a standing ovation as he made his way up onto the stage to accept the Comedy Act Award.

“First and foremost,” the star said into the mic, “Thank God because I definitely don’t have to be here.

“Being that I am, it makes me appreciate life even more. It makes me appreciate the things that really matter. Family.

“I want to thank my wife and kids, who really stepped up to the plate for me.

“I want to thank the people, man. You have no idea the effect you have on us entertainers, your energy, your support.

“It means the world and I truly want to thank you guys for being there for me in a difficult time.”

Kevin was applauded to round out his speech by the ceremony’s star-studded guest list that included reality TV’s number one family, the Kardashians.

Kim, Kourtney, Khloe and Kris ruled the red carpet as they strutted their stuff and showed off their fashion versatility.

While Kim opted for a snakeskin, figure-hugging dress, Kourtney left very little to the imagination in a glittery pan suit over a barely-there crop top.

Spider-Man and Euphoria star Zendaya stunned in a flowing cropped black dress, while singer Gwen Stefani – who was accepting the Fashion Icon Award – turned heads in a Vera Wang dress with knee high suede boots.

Channing Tatum’s ex Jenna Dewan showed off her baby bump in a deep red gown, completing her ensemble with matching lipstick and simple but statement jewellery.
