Kenyan’s President Honors Muslim Who Protected Christians During Terror Attracks!

The President of Kenya presented a posthumous award to a Muslim man for protecting Christians during a December terrorist attack.

When Islamic militants from the Somalia-based al-Shabab terrorist group attacked a bus, they demanded Muslims separate from Christians.

But the Muslim passengers, led by a teacher named Salah Farah, refused to split from the Christians.

Eventually the terrorists gave up their attempts to kill the Christians.

“We are brothers. It’s only the religion that is the difference, so I ask my brother Muslims to take care of the Christians so that the Christians also take care of us… and let us help one another,” Farah said after the attack.

Farah was shot during the incident and died on January 18 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta said Farah “refused to be divided by terrorism” and that Farah received the Order of the Grand Warrior “for his act of courage.”
