Kenyan TV News Anchor, Janet Mbugua Gets Her Son a Live African Elephant for His Birthday

Being a parent can be a tough job and even so when deciding what to treat your little one to on their birthday.

But fret not, TV anchor Janet Mbugua has a suggestion for you and yours. How about adopting and elephant?

The popular TV personality and her husband adopted an elephant for their baby Huru on his first birthday. The Elephant named Ambo currently resides at the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust center which is mainly an orphanage for elephants and rhinos.

Janet in her announcement said that this move will teach their son the value of elephant conservation.

“Some of you have asked me what we got #BabyHuru as a birthday gift? We adopted an elephant for him named Ambo, from the @dswt in Nairobi. I hope one day he understands the importance of #ElephantConservation,” she posted.

Talk about gifting on another level!
